I do, and often too.
One of the things that tick me off is procradtination and people being laid back on things. Procrastination and not making a move to make things you know you need to take a decision on or make a move on and timely too can be nerve wracking to those who can only move forward on whatever step you take.
Simply put, do not keep people or others waiting at such moments.
Today's topic is TIMELY ACTION!
Hello, parents, husbands, wives, employers, the boss at work, individuals, anybody who needs to do or say something to get a chain process going should just focus and get things done when you should
have you heard your kids say 'how i wish dad would just listen and sort out my documents/school issues on time'?
Wives stressed out waiting for their husband to do that which is required to keep the homefront going, sisters preparing to strangle brothers for not doing their share of the house chores on time due to one lazy excuse or the other, bosses not taking urgent steps to address staff welfare situations, people generally not giving a determined push to start and end an activity that involves a chain process.
Conclusively anything that needs to be done, should be done and can be done with the right sense of focus and determination to push the process to decisive and logical conclusion and is left hanging is a definite frustration trigger.
True some steps can not be taken due to reasons that border on finances, inability to get the orocess going one way or the other and tenable factors. But the fact still remains that with determination and will to make a move, we can make just about anything happen.
What that means is that if we desire to do something, get a task accomplished or put a process in place, we would go all out to make it happen. There is after all a saying that where there is a will, there s always a way. We must want to do something and push to make it happen or attempt to overcome obstacles/challenges to get a positive outcome.
In essence if we see the importance of achieving what needs to be done, we would do it and not keep others waiting.
Even if the end is not necessarily of direct benefit to our person but to others around us, if we value what it means to complete the process then we would definitely work towards getting whatever needs to be done to accomplish the goal or target done.
Why are some people seen as action packed and go getters whilst some are laid back about accomplishing anything particularly if it would only benefit others around them. And even when the end result will add some measure of value to their lives they remain lackadisical about everything.
Maybe its inherited genes or due to type of upbringing, level of exposure, belief systems or just an attitude thing. The point is putting things off to the last minute or not pushing to get things done as at when due or leaving others waiting on any matter that needs to be concluded out of personal distraction or no real interest in the matter at hand is frustrating to those you leave hanging and somewhat insensitive.
What you can do is make a decisive effort to get things done, take bold steps, make decisions, anything. Just start the process and see it to a logical end. Do not leave things undone or not completed and keep others in limbo and matters perpetually arising.
For those who await your next move or decision, keep them informed of latest developments, the efforts if any that you are making to get things done. Update those that need the information regularly, play your own part even if you are finding it tedious or difficult to accomplish.
When people are waiting and do not hear from you whilst they can not move to the next stage of the process without your input, sets off the frustration trigger. People are upset, angry and left in limbo.
Let's regard and respect others in our daily actions.
Is procrastination an attitude thing?

Thank you for bringing this up , for me personally procrastination for whatever seemingly valid reason is an enemy to progress .
